An Officer's room! What struck me about the spaces on the French Castle's second floor was that they seemed like a fighting ship's spaces: Separated by relatively flimsy wooden walls that seemed to be intended for quick relocation.

As denoted on the plaque on the non-wooden wall, many of the accoutrements in the Maison's rooms were furnished by the Buffalo (New York) chapters of both the Sons of the American Revolution and Sons of Colonial Wars.
